Campus rules: Transportation Services and University Police may impound vehicles that break the rules, and the owner pays release, relocation and storage. A forged, altered, lost or stolen permit leads to an immediate tow. Wrong plate numbers on a virtual permit can lead to a citation, boot or tow.

Requires a City tow truck license for nonconsent tows and a licensed storage lot in Brazos County; points to state law for private-property tow and drop fees; bars relocation tows within a lot area; requires release on payment of the drop fee once hooked up; and requires storage lots to tell police within two hours of receiving a nonconsent tow and to release cars during the same hours they accept them.

Revises Order 09-003 (Feb. 24, 2009) for police-ordered tows outside city limits: keeps the 2009 maximums ($175 basic tow; $436 heavy for two hours plus $218 an hour), bars fees for services not performed and card surcharges on tows straight to a storage lot, and sets how a tow fee study may be requested.
