Official police tow service agreements (2008 to 2015)
The City Council approves amended Official Police Tow Service agreements running through December 31, 2010, with two one-year extensions.
The Council is asked to extend the agreements with 13 official police tow companies through December 31, 2012.
Official police tow rates take effect that later become the base for today's rates in Municipal Code section 5.15.080.
Stated in the current code; the 2015 rate list itself has not been found.
Fees and the 2026 code (2016 to 2026)
The code later adjusts the 2015 tow rates for 8% cumulative inflation over these years.
The City's fee schedule lists a $20 police vehicle release fee for most tows and $372 for 'Safe Streets Act' tows.

Ordinance 7757 sets the current text of section 5.15.080, including the $252-an-hour standard police tow rate.
Not yet verified The code cites 'Ord. 7757 ยง 80, 2026'; the adoption date is not confirmed.
